Do not use glass cleaner or ammonia-based cleaning products on the acrylic cover.
These will react with the acrylic and cause permanent smudging of the face of the blanket. Use a plastic cleaner with a lint-free microfiber cloth to clean the acrylic backing.

The acrylic cover may have small black spots at the pixel level and / or very minor scratches. This is normal and occurs as part of the manufacturing process.
